Meat Processing Team Members Secondary Butchers

Silver Fern Farms Dargaville are predominantly looking for secondary butchery workers for both day and night shift, to maintain a consistent pace on the chain. Duties include cutting and bandsaw work, deboning, trimming, preparing specific cuts, weighing and wrapping, and meat packing.

We are preparing for the new season and expect to return and onboard on the 28th of October!

Pre employment drug test required - swab testing as opposed to urine testing - this can detect up to 4-5 days. Ability to get to work reliably. MOJ required. Case by case basis. Eager to be at work every day. Eager to advance in an organisation that will develop those from within. Reliability is a must. Go-get-it attitude. If you are signed up with the union, you will also received an extra $1.50 per hour as you will be paid for donning and doffing. ACC history check is required to be declared fit for industry. Looking for applicants that are durable and resilient who want to turn up to work each day.
