A homeware outlet in Otahuhu is seeking for mature, passionate and dedicated Retail Assistant to join their busy team
Duties and responsibilities include:
• Serve customers by helping them select products and answering their queries. • Greet and receive customers in a welcoming manner. • Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters. • Operate the cash register. • End of Day Register Balance Procedures and Banking • Assist with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise. • Keep the shop clean and tidy
Job Requirements
Must have previous retail and customer service experience Must have valid drivers licence and reliable transport Motivated and responsible Good communication skills Interest in cooking and understanding in Indian kitchenware will be advantageous Must be available to work weekends Must pass police check and pre-employment drug test
