Orchard Hand - Counters & Thinners

We're looking for detail-oriented and motivated individuals to join our orchard team! As a Fruit Thinning & Counting Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our fruit trees produce the best quality yield by carefully counting and thinning fruit clusters to maintain optimal fruit numbers on each branch.

What you'll do:

- Count and thin fruit clusters, ensuring our trees have the perfect number of fruits on each branch. - You would be supplied with an iPad to record all your calculations and keep track of work.

Prerequisites: - Previous orchard hand experience preferred( If no previous experience then they must be able to match all the job requirements as listed below: - Must have restricted Licence and own reliable transport - Must be able to pass an MOJ check and Drug test - Punctual and reliable - Willingness to get “stuck into” any task given, performing the task safely, efficiently, and to a quality standard - An enthusiastic and hardworking attitude - Ability to multitask - Able to work on a ladder -Flexible to work extended hours - Enjoy working outdoors and carrying out physical work - Willing to work in all weather conditions - Excellent teamwork and ability to work with people from different cultures and backgrounds - Ability to use or learn to use, an iPad
