Hammerhands

A Wellington Construction Business are always on the hunt for Hammer hands with their tools! With a drive to support their teams and assist with astounding projects.

The hammer hand will work closely with qualified tradespeople and report directly to the Site Supervisor core duties include but are not limited to:

1. Carpentry Support: o Assisting Carpenters/Joiners with framing, roofing, decking, and general fit-out tasks. o Measuring, cutting, and installing timber and other construction materials as directed.

2. Preparatory Work: o Constructing temporary works, such as hoardings, site sheds, and scaffolding assistance. o Basic formwork assembly and stripping.

3. Material and Equipment Management: o Organising, moving, and securing materials and tools required for carpentry tasks. o Routine maintenance and care of their own and company-provided tools and equipment.

4. Directed Tasks: o Performing general labouring duties when required, including site tidy-up and material runs. o Executing tasks as directed by supervisors that require an intermediate skill level.

5. Safety Compliance: o Maintaining a high standard of workplace health and safety, particularly when operating tools and machinery. o Adhering strictly to all site health and safety procedures and regulations.

• Must have proven previous experience • Must have their OWN tools - Full Set of Hand Tools + Skill Saw, Drills, Impact Driver + Nail Gun (Power Tools). • Available to work 7am – 5pm • Must have reliable means of transport • Must have at least restricted licence • Must Pass Drug Test • Must Pass MOJ Check
