Kitchenhand - Te Puke

Kitchenhand for a busy Te Puke restaurant/bar. Tasks include: • Prepare ingredients and assist with basic food preparation tasks to meet kitchen standards and ensure quality. • Support chefs by washing, peeling, chopping, and organizing food items for use in meal preparation. • Clean, sanitize, and store all kitchen tools, equipment, and utensils in line with hygiene requirements. • Maintain cleanliness and safety in all food preparation, storage, and serving areas. • Unpack and properly store deliveries and kitchen supplies as they arrive. • Track cleaning supplies and help replenish stock when necessary. • Dispose of rubbish, sweep, and mop floors to ensure a safe and orderly workspace. • Serve customers when required to support the business operations and maintain service standards. • Aid kitchen staff and management in maintaining smooth workflow during peak periods. • Undertake other kitchen-related duties as requested to support operations.

• MUST be available to work weekends and late shifts until 10:00 PM. • Physically fit, able to stand and move for extended periods. • Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high standards. • Committed to delivering consistent quality and supporting efficient kitchen operations. • Pre-employment drug test
