Front of House/Wait Staff - Te Puke

Front of House / Wait staff for a busy Te Puke restaurant/bar. Tasks include: • Welcome and attend to customers promptly, presenting menus and explaining food and beverage options. • Take and record customer orders accurately, and communicate them effectively to the kitchen staff. • Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring a professional and courteous service. • Clear tables and return used items to the kitchen promptly after service. • Operate POS systems to process payments and provide correct change. • Maintain cleanliness and order of dining and service areas, adhering to hygiene and safety standards. • Assist with preparation, setup, and decoration of the venue for special events or functions. • Assist in kitchen tasks when required to support business operations and maintain service standards. • Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints professionally, ensuring a positive experience. • Coordinate with the team members to ensure smooth and efficient front-of- house operations.

• Relevant work experience is preferred but not mandatory. • MUST be available to work weekends and late shifts until 10:00 PM. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Physically fit, able to stand and move for extended periods. • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. • Strong coordination, time management, and multitasking abilities. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high service standards. • Well-presented, reliable, and passionate about providing quality service. • Pre-employment drug test
