About this job
To deliver Quality Care to the Residents of the facility, in accordance with relevant care standards and current good and safe practice, duty schedules, and in an attitude of co-operation and helpfulness Report to the nurse and complete delegated tasks in a timely manner Residents’ personal care tasks i.e. hygiene, grooming, toileting Including mobilising, shaving, brushing of teeth and hair Maintain documents in resident healthcare records
Job Requirements
Aged care caregiver relevant experience or training required New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 2 - 4 preferred but not essential People skills with empathy for the elderly and their families Fluent in Maori / Cantonese / Mandarin / Pacific Languages would be an advantage but not essential (to meet the cultural diversity community need as per NZS8134. The flexibility to work on a rostered shift basis
