Office Administrator - Part-time

A Maori-owned family business is seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join their team on a part-time basis.
Position Details: • 20 hours per week • Tuesday to Friday • 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Role Overview: The successful candidate will begin each day with a daily toolbox meeting and Karakia, then take responsibility for a range of administrative duties including: • Managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings • Organising and maintaining files, databases, and records • Preparing documents for reports and presentations • Managing and maintaining social media posts on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok • Assisting with projects by tracking deadlines and facilitating communication • Greeting visitors and supporting daily office operations
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in administration, demonstrating a mature and proactive attitude. They will be digitally savvy, comfortable working independently, and capable of self-management.
Essential Skills: • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and other Office applications • Experience with facebook and instagram and willing to learn about other social media platforms • Strong initiative and the ability to work autonomously • Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace

Job Requirements
• Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice check • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and other Office applications • Experience with facebook and instagram and willing to learn about other social media platforms • Strong initiative and the ability to work autonomously • Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace • Minimum 1 year experience in an Administration role, reflected in CV. • Must have updated CV with referees
