We are seeking experienced Senior Waiters to join our professional front-of-house team and help us continue to provide the high standards our guests have come to expect.
The Role As a Senior Waiter, you will be responsible for providing attentive, professional, and seamless service throughout each guest’s dining experience. This role requires strong food and beverage knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-end environment.
Key responsibilities include: • Delivering high-quality table service and ensuring guests receive efficient, courteous attention at all times • Accurately taking and processing food and beverage orders using POS systems • Demonstrating strong menu and wine knowledge, including daily specials and beverage pairings • Using up-selling techniques to enhance the dining experience • Collaborating with bar and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service flow • Handling guest queries and complaints professionally, escalating when necessary • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the restaurant • Complying with all Health, Safety, and Food Safety regulations, including the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act
Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have: • A minimum of 4 years’ experience as a waiter in quality restaurants • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for hospitality • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment • Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, Monday to Sunday, between 11am and 11pm
