A small-scale regenerative market garden in New Plymouth is looking for a Baby Leaf Salad Technician to join their team for the summer growing season. We grow salad greens, vegetables, and microgreens for our local community, cafes, and restaurants — with a deep commitment to healthy soil, sustainable growing systems, and regenerative agriculture.
Season: November – April Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, with occasional Sundays.
What They’re Looking For They are seeking a skilled, hands-on seasonal team member who’s passionate about growing quality produce and working outdoors. Essential skills and experience: • Confident using small-scale market gardening tools: • Salad greens harvester • Tilther • Precision seeder / Jang seeder • Paperpot transplanter • Microgreen production and greenhouse management • Competence with hand tools and post-harvest handling
About You • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn • Able to work well in a team and follow safe work practices • Good physical fitness and comfort with outdoor, seasonal work

• You will need a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn, ability to work in a team and follow safe work practices. • Fit and healthy for physical work • Minimum restricted licence with own reliable transport to get to and from work
