Casual Security Guard
About this job
-Deliver professional, friendly customer service to clients, visitors, and the public -Monitor areas for potential risks, respond promptly to incidents, and maintain safety -Conduct security screening, including bag checks and access control as required -Assist with crowd direction, entry management, and venue procedures at events -Communicate clearly and use de-escalation techniques as needed -Complete accurate incident and shift reporting - Represent businesses values at every site and event
Job Requirements
-Ability to provide a high standard of customer service and professionalism -Excellent communication and teamwork skills -Flexible availability – including evenings, weekends, and public holidays -Previous experience in security, events, hospitality, or customer service is an advantage -Commitment to following safety, risk, and compliance procedures
Clean criminal conviction record Hold a current NZ COA (Certificate of Approval) security licence Physically fit for the duties of the position
