A Motueka Orchard is looking for Apple Thinners to join their team for to start 15 November and work through to 14 February. This is entry level orchard work, with opportunity to grow. Thinning apples trees to deliver well balanced growth for fruit maturity. Any training will be provided on the job. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, reliable, and have a great attitude.
Job Requirements
•Physically fit and be able to maintain moderate to High level of activity for 9 hours • Weight restrictions due to ladder health and safety requirements. • Need to have good balance as staff are required to constantly climb up and down ladders • All criminal convictions must be disclosed and the decision of hiring the candidate will be at the complete discretion of the employer • Able to follow written and verbal instructions • Attention to details • Need to be motivated • Quality Focused

- Monday – Saturdays (Need to be available on Sundays if whether dictates) 45- 50 Hours (7.30 am to 5 pm) (40 hours per week)
