Truck Driver Class 5

• Drive and operate the company Class-5 trucks. • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods). • Ensure to follow company policies and procedures • Supervise or help with loading the truck • Check the condition of the load and ensure that it is secure • Follow correct safety procedures • Keep records of, and check invoices of goods we carry • Plan the best delivery route • Make deliveries or pick up goods • Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent while driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. • Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business. • Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public • Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately • Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered while driving to the supervisors • Maintain vehicle equipment; clean windows, windshields, and mirrors as needed.

• Must have a valid Heavy Truck Driving licence with a clean driving record • Availability to work from Monday to Sunday including day and night shifts. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work. • Self-motivated with a positive and professional attitude. • Physically fit and hardworking. • Able to pass the drug test. • The role involves travel within Auckland and to nearby regions, with all travel-related costs covered by the employer.
