Keen for outdoor work? We have fixed-term opportunities for people who enjoy outdoor work, are motivated and good team players. The work is available in the Opotiki and Te Kaha areas commencing Oct and going through until 19th Dec. Duties include flower thinning, bud thinning, fruit thinning, crush tipping, male pruning, and summer pruning. You will be on your feet and working above head and shoulders height for long periods of time therefore a good level of fitness is required. This work is weather dependant with up to 5 to 6 days of work available. For health and safety reasons, closed footwear must be worn on-orchard – gumboots are suitable.
