About this job
We’re looking for our next friendly Front of House Superstar that is friendly, motivated and has exceptional Front of House and Hospitality skills to join our Tahu restaurant team. You’ll provide excellent customer service, take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure a positive dining experience while maintaining cleanliness and smooth operations. But don't worry if you don't quite have the right skills, as we are willing to train the right person who is keen and has a great attitude that fits in with the team!
The role would be a minimum of 30 hours per week, potentially increasing to 40 hours for a strong candidate. We operate every day, and shift times vary by location.
At The Kiosk, shifts typically start between 6 AM and 10 AM, finishing around 3 PM to 9 PM, depending on the season.
For Tahu, start times range from 8 AM to late in the evening, with shifts generally lasting 4 to 8 hours, depending on the specific role and start time.
We require candidates to have full availability, including nights and weekends, as these are essential for our operations. While we can be flexible if someone occasionally needs time off, candidates should generally expect to be fully available.
Responsibilities:
- Take and serve food and drink orders. - Answer customer questions and make recommendations. - Ensure cleanliness and organization of the cafe. - Collaborate with kitchen and barista staff for smooth service. - Handle customer complaints and requests professionally. - Maintain health and safety standards.

Job Requirements
- Familiar with POS systems and basic numeracy for transactions. - Friendly, outgoing, and energetic. - Ability to work under pressure and multitask. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Team player, adaptable, and reliable. - Previous FOH, food service experience essential - Criminal convictions will need to be disclosed at the time of applying, considered case by case
