Class 4 Gantry Truck Driver

South Auckland based trucking company in search for Class 4 Gantry Truck drivers for their deliveries across Auckland, Waikato and Tauranga. Ideal candidate will have full clean Class 4 licence. Ideal candidate will be - Picking up bins from customer sites or doorsteps in timely manner - Use a mobile device or app to scan items and record deliveries or bin collections - Obtain signatures or feedback from recipients when required - Fill out all required paperwork related to bin emptying, deliveries, and missing bins - Communicate with customers and the company about delivery updates, issues, or special requests via phone, text, or email - Ensure the vehicle is kept in clean and tidy condition - Carry out minor maintenance tasks required for the vehicle - Attend to usual reporting procedures associated with driving - Carry out daily checking of vehicle (oil, water, fuel, air pressure, safety conditions and equipment security, road user charge licence, hub odometer readings) - Constantly keep the employer informed of any updates/maintenance required for the vehicle - Carry out any other such duties the employer may reasonably require

Ideal candidate will : - Hold a Clean full Class 4 license (an overseas license is also acceptable) - Have minimum of 1 year of experience in driving class 4 vehicle - Be physically fit as the commercial bins can be heavy to handle manually - Maintain a proactive approach to your Health and Safety and those around you - Maintain a professional road manner - Able to work on Weekends if required - Have a clean MOJ and able to pass drugs test
