About this job
As a Mechanic, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles and mechanical equipment to keep them running safely and efficiently. You’ll perform routine maintenance, fix faults, and use diagnostic tools to identify problems. You’ll also explain repairs to customers and ensure all work meets safety standards.
Key Responsibilities: - Diagnose issues using tools and computer software. - Repair or replace parts like engines, brakes, and filters. - Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and tune-ups. - Conduct safety inspections and issue roadworthiness certificates. - Communicate clearly with customers about problems and repairs. - Complete work documentation and update records. - Keep the workspace clean and safe.
Job Requirements
-3 + years experience - Ideally hold a WOF Certificate - Good mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills. - Comfortable using diagnostic computers and software. - Detail-oriented and organized. - Strong communication skills. - Able to work well independently or in a team. - MUST be able to pass ALL pre-employment checks
