Part-time & Casual opportunities to assist a young professional man in a wheelchair with his daily life. Duties will include personal, household and general tasks, but will also include some assistance for social activities.

I am looking for someone energetic, youthful & reliable to assist me in my daily life. Must be able to work both week days and in the weekend. The hours are very flexible and can be adjusted in accordance with your schedule. Flexible shifts are available throughout the day, evenings and weekends and offer between 6 - 20 hours per week

Personal Tasks -Help with dressing, showering, cooking and preparing meals as required Household Tasks -Cleaning, laundry, dishes and making/changing bed General Tasks -Wheelchair maintenance, shopping, paperwork, writing or emails Assistance for social activities -Attend meetings, gym, swimming, movies, classes and meeting friends

I would love to get fit, so someone with a background in fitness would be ideal. You will need to be physically fit as I will need your help getting in and out of my chair. Good sense of humor, self management, patience, empathy and communication are key to being successful in this role.

Job Requirements

-Previous experience in care and support work is required for this role -Health related qualifications would be a bonus -Be able to provide personal care -Physically fit and capable of some heavy lifting -Good communication -Full license & own reliable vehicle would be a bonus
