Be part of an established large scale orchard operation. Located in the Tasman region, our Appleby orchard is a short drive from Richmond town centre.
We need to thin the amount of fruit on the trees to concentrate growth into fewer fruit to produce a better overall crop for export.
You will be working outdoors for up to 9 hours per day, with a 30-minute break for lunch and two 10-minute tea breaks, 5-6 days per week. Hours will be weather dependent. Some work is carried out on ladders and/or elevated platforms, so you will need a good head for heights. Previous experience preferred, but full training will be provided.

Job Requirements: - Comfortable working on ladders/platforms and at heights - Reliable transport to get to and from work - Closed toe shoes and rain jackets - Sun smart clothing including a hat Note: Drug testing may be required.
