Kiwfruit orchard worker - Te Puke

Keen for outdoor work? We have an opportunity for people who enjoy outdoor work, motivated and a good team player in the Te Puke area on a casual basis. Duties include flower thinning, bud thinning, fruit thinning, crush tipping, male pruning, and summer pruning. This work involves being on your feet and working above head and shoulders height for long periods of time therefore a good level of fitness is required. This work is weather dependant with up to 5 to 6 days of work available per week. For health and safety reasons, closed footwear must be worn on-orchard – gumboots are suitable. Tools are provided by the employer and training is provided. You will be required to have secured accommodation and your own reliable transport within daily distance to the location area prior to applying.
