Front of House/Waiter/Waitress

Seeking Front-of-House staff for a local indian vegetarian and sweets Employer. Duties will include: * Setting and arranging tables * Greeting customers and presenting them with menus. * Taking Dine-in / Phone / Delivery Apps orders at POS and handling cash. * Co-ordinating with kitchen and sweet and snacks counter to deliver the whole order to customer. *To provide information to customers about different foods / snacks / sweets offerings / Specials / ingredients/ allergens / hamper and gift items etc * Serving food and clearing tables. * Cleaning of tables and floors as required when trading and at end of day. * General Cleaning around restaurant and dishwashing as and when required. * Setting tables, chairs at the start of day and to keep the cutlery station and drink fridges filled. * To talk to customers to get feedback and report to manager / supervisor, if any customer complaints. * Any other relevant tasks and duties as required.

* Right to work in New Zealand * Able to pass pre-employment checks (medical if required, a drug test and MOJ check). * Have a positive attitude with excellent interpersonal people skills and provide great customer service. * Be well presented, good health with a great attitude. * Team worker and able to get on with others. * Have knowledge of Indian vegetarian hot food (North, South, Gujrati, Indo-Chinese and Tandoori), Indian Sweets & snacks and Chaat items. * Relevant experience in a similar organization is preferred, and can speak hindi.
