Front of House/Waiter/Waitress

A South Indian restaurant in Mt Roskill is looking for friendly and customer-focused Front of House staff members to join our team in Auckland. This role is essential to delivering outstanding service, as it involves greeting customers, taking and serving orders, maintaining service areas, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable customer experience. Key Responsibilities: • Greet customers promptly, present menus, and explain food and beverage options. • Take orders and inform kitchen staff accordingly. • Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally. • Clear tables and return used items to the kitchen promptly after service. • Process payments using POS systems and provide accurate change as needed. • Maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas in line with hygiene standards. • Assist with setting up and decorating the venue for special events or functions. • Handle guest inquiries.

Basic understanding of Indian cuisine; interest in learning South Indian dishes- preferred Good customer service skills.
