Meat Process Worker

A local meat processing plant is looking for Meat Processing Workers to fill a wide range of roles. You could be working in the boning room, slaughter area, in the value add department, the offal room or in the chillers - wherever works best. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, motivated, and very reliable. Some knife handling skills would be an advantage, but full training is provided. You must be able to pass a drug test and a police check (however minor convictions may be looked at on a case by case basis). Applications are available from the Work Broker team, applicants must register for MyACC and request a Pre-Employment Check (Claimant History from the ACC). Identification is also required such as a passport or birth certificate along with photo ID such as a drivers licence or 18+ card. As part of the application process references will be needed. Applicants with previous experience would be preferred, however this role is open to all those with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
