Seasonal Vineyard Worker (Summer)

Summer work is available! Work is hands-on, a physical role involving all aspects of tending to viticulture crops and vineyard maintenance including: -planting, -wire lifting -bud rubbing -fruit thinning -shoot thinning -harvest Work will extend from early Nov 2025 – late April 2026.
Pay rate is $23.50-$25.85 per hour plus 8% holiday pay (paid weekly),(most tasks are piece-rate so earning potential may be higher for those that can work efficiently), commensurate to experience, plus 8% holiday pay (paid weekly).

Job Requirements
-A good level of fitness is required to be successful in this role. -Not suitable for those with mobility issues or injuries that would prevent extensive walking up and down the vineyard, bending up and down at times to complete the task. -Must be able to get to the main office in the mornings - Transport is available from Hortus office for $40 per week. -Must be reliable. *Convictions will be considered on a case by case basis.
