As a Duty Manager/Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional experience for our customers. This role requires someone who is energetic, friendly, and professional and enjoys going the extra mile for customers.
Your key responsibilities will include: - Delivering a Super in-store shopping experience for customers. - Building creative store and promotional displays, to help generate sales. - Developing great product knowledge to assist customers with purchases. - Delivering orders to our customers. - Taking charge of instore housekeeping and maintaining a safe and clean working environment. - Maintain checkout and cash handling operations by following policies and procedures and reporting any changes.
It is a busy environment with regular heavy lifting so a good level of fitness is required. On job and online training is available.

Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have: - Duty Manager certificate , or a minimum held your LCQ for at least 6 months in order obtain DM Cert - A FULL current driver’s licence (with no restrictions) for making deliveries - Previous experience working in a retail store environment, preferably within the liquor industry. - Specialist product knowledge i.e., beer, wine, spirits and RTDs (training will be provided) - Ability to work independently and follow company processes and procedures. - Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. - Problem solver with solutions focus. - Team player who is flexible and reliable - Ability to build trusting relationships with team members, customers, suppliers. - Be physically fit as you will be required to lift, move, and deliver stock. - Relevant tertiary level qualification would be an advantage. - A forklift certificate is advantageous – we are prepared to train - consent to undergoing a Credit check - 2 x references required
