We’re looking for a Farm Assistant to join our dedicated team and support the daily and seasonal operations across our dairy farm. This role is ideal for someone passionate about farming, animals, and working outdoors as part of a team.
About the Role: As a Farm Assistant, you’ll play a key part in the day-to-day running of the farm, reporting directly to the Farm Manager and working closely with the shed specialist. Your primary responsibility will be assisting with milking operations in an 80-bail rotary shed, ensuring high standards of milk harvesting, hygiene, animal health, and equipment maintenance.
About You: - A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn - Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of work - Experience in dairy farming is an advantage, but training can be provided - Comfortable working with animals and farm machinery - Understanding of farm health, safety, and compliance practices

Job Requirements
- Assist with milking, feeding, calving, and animal health management - Support milk harvesting, plant and shed cleaning, and preventative maintenance - Ensure high standards of milk quality and production using systems like Milktech, Milk Hub, and Halter - Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental, and animal welfare standards - Assist with pasture management, grazing, and effluent management - Support calf rearing, fencing, weed control, and general farm maintenance - Contribute to continuous improvement across all farm operations
