Kiwifruit orchard worker - summer

Keen for outdoor work in the local Te Puke area? We have a fixed term opportunity available for you for summer orchard work from early October 2025 until 19 December 2025 in preparation for 2026 harvest season according to industry specifications. Tasks include including bud thinning, foliage management, training canes to strings and much more. This work involves working above head and shoulder height and being on your feet for long periods of time and includes bud thinning and fruit thinning. Closed footwear must be worn on orchard at all times as part of the health and safety requirements. Gumboots are suitable. You will need be able to travel to the various orchards. Tools will be provided by the employer.
Job Requirements
Training will be provided. Must be able to undergo and pass a pre employment drug test as well as a MOJ check.

- 7.30am – 5.00pm – Mon-Sun - weather dependent (40 hours per week)
