We are seeking dedicated professionals to fill various vital roles within an embassy in Wellington, including clerks, translators, drivers, cleaners, cooks, waitstaff, gardeners, and security guards.

Daily Tasks Involved in the Role:
Clerk: Perform administrative duties, manage office records, assist embassy staff with paperwork, and handle computer-based tasks.
Translator: Translate documents between Arabic and English, assist in communication with Arabic-speaking visitors, and provide interpretation as needed.
Driver: Safely transport staff and documents, adhere to embassy schedules, and maintain vehicles.
Cleaner (Service Worker): Clean and maintain embassy premises, ensure hygiene standards are met, and assist with basic support tasks.
Cook: Prepare Eastern and Western cuisine, plan menus, serve meals, and maintain kitchen hygiene.
Waiter/Steward: Serve food, arrange tables, assist during events, and ensure dining areas are tidy.
Gardener: Maintain outdoor spaces, care for plants, and ensure a presentable environment.
Security Guard: Monitor premises, ensure safety, respond to incidents, and enforce security protocols.

Job Requirements
Clerk: Bachelor’s degree, computer literacy, administrative experience.
Translator: Bachelor’s degree, fluency in Arabic and English, Translator’s Association certificate.
Driver: Valid New Zealand public driving license, experience driving (subject to driving test). In general, need to be able to get into the Wellington CBD.
Cleaner: Previous cleaning or service experience.
Senior Chef: Must be experienced in both Middle-Eastern and Western cuisine Experience with running part of or all of a kitchen Minimum 2 years' experience as a Senior Chef Work mainly mon-fri, but some weekend work may be required, if they have dignitaries visiting for example
Gardener Hours: 9am–3pm, Monday to Friday All indoor plants Minimum of 6 months exp in gardening of some kind.
Waiter/Steward: Experience in food service and table arranging.
Security Guard: Relevant security experience.
Additionally
Health certificate confirming freedom from infectious diseases and fitness for full-time work.
Proficiency in English for non-Arab foreigners.
MOJ, Police, Drug and Alcohol checks (Medical check also required)
