Kiwifruit orchard worker - Te Puke area

STARTING EARLY OCTOBER
We have an opportunity for people who enjoy outdoor work, motivated and a good team player in the Te Puke area including Pongakawa, Paengaroa and Maketu doing summer kiwifruit orchard work.
Duties include flower thinning, bud thinning, fruit thinning, training canes, male pruning, and summer pruning. This can lead on the harvest season.
This work involves working above head and shoulder height and being on your feet for long periods of time. Closed footwear must be always worn on orchard, as part of the health and safety requirements. Gumboots are suitable. This work is weather dependant with up to 5 to 6 days of work a week available. You will need secure accommodation within daily travel assistance and be able to travel to the various orchards. Tools will be provided by the employer.
Job Requirements
Own transport required as travelling to various locations so will require a minimum of a current restricted drivers licence. There may be random drug testing. Minor convictions considered.
