Corrections Officers are these working besides people in prison throughout their daily activities, providing ongoing opportunities to influence change and motivate positive decisions. They supersize peoples routines, help them to navigate prison life, escort them to hearings and appointments, and support them to engage in rehabilitation programmes.

Job Requirements
-Successful candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and a MOJ check (Clean Slate doesn't apply) -Be able and prepared to complete a pre-employment medical and physical fitness test -Be able to work rostered shifts across a 24/7 pattern including weekends and public holidays -Have either a full, clean New Zealand driver licence or be eligible to obtain one within 3 months of acceptance. -Updated current CV with at least 2 contactable referees -A cover letter detailing why you want to become a Corrections Officer

- Shifts provide 7 days/nights a week coverage, and you will also be rostered for on-call work out of hours and at weekends. (40 hours per week)
