Orchard Supervisor
About this job
A Kiwifruit Contractor with orchards between Te Puke and Katikati needs a person who will report to the company’s Director or higher Manager any incidents or information relating to the running of the business including but not limited to staff complaints, staff misconduct and timely health and safety updates. • Assist in HR duties as required for the operations of the business. • Training and Supervising employees as allocated. • Monitor staff performance on site. • Go through each orchard before and after the shift to ensure that the orchard being worked on is safe. • Ensure that each employee has the proper equipment such as trimmers, gloves and protective wear. • Supervise employees, ensuring that new employees are shown working methods to improve efficiency and productivity. • Help any employees needing assistance during work. • Ensuring compliance with prescribed occupational health and safety regulations. If any incidents or accidents should occur during work hours, ensure that this is accurately. noted and that an incident report is sent to the Manager.

Job Requirements
At least 1 years experience in the industry. Own transport. Good managing people. Communicates well.
