About this job
A Taupo cafe needs a manager who will, Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies, ingredients and equipment as needed and price goods according to budget. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Oversee the management of cash register transactions and balancing. Manage finances, including budgeting, cost control and revenue generation. Manage catering services for meetings and special requests, tailored to customer needs and within set timeframes. Liaise with customers to plan and execute catering orders, ensuring seamless service delivery for both regular and one-off events. Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages to ensure consistency and quality. Hire, train, and supervise cafe staff, and create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
Job Requirements
Good communication skills, good customer service skills At least 1 years experience as a manager in the hospitality industry. Pass a pre-employment drug test AND Police check
