The employer is currently seeking enthusiastic, energetic, and approachable individuals to join our team as Casual Support Workers across three distinct services, aimed at supporting people on their mental health and wellbeing journeys. As a Casual Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including both community and residential environments. Your role will involve walking alongside Tangata Whai Ora (people seeking health) and Rangatahi (youth) providing support, encouragement, and a positive presence in their daily lives. Key responsibilities include: *Engaging and supporting Tangata Whai Ora and rangatahi in a compassionate and proactive way. *Encouraging participation in a variety of activities designed to improve mental health and wellbeing. *Being a positive presence, offering encouragement, motivation, and consistency as they navigate their journey. *Working across multiple services, some of which operate 24/7, so flexibility with shifts is essential. About You If you bring along the following, we would love to hear from you: *Strong passion about mental health and a desire to support individuals on their recovery journey. *A Level 4 or higher qualification in Health and Wellbeing, Mental Health or Addiction (or willingness to work towards one). *Experience in the mental health sector and a strong commitment to recovery values (essential). *Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with those you support. *Flexibility with your working hours and available for shifts across various times (some services operate 24/7). *Eligibility to work in New Zealand and a current full drivers license. Job Requirements
*At least 1 - 2 years working across one of the sectors. *Level 4 or higher qualification in Health and Wellbeing, Mental Health or Addiction or a willingness to work towards one. *Eligibility to work in New Zealand. *Full Driver's License required. *Flexibility with your working hours and available for shifts across various times (some services operate 24/7)
