A local Nelson dairy is looking for a staff member to join their team.
Key Tasks • Serve Customers • Receive and inspect incoming goods for any damage or mismatch with invoices • Open packages, organise and label incoming stock clearly • Use the employers point of sale system to register stock • Pack and seal goods for storage • Assist the Store Manager with regular stocktakes and report any discrepancies • Maintain a clean and organised storage area, following all safety guidelines
The successful applicant must be able to work a rotating roster Monday to Sunday so weekend availability is a must
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have;
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills • Ability to lift and move heavy items as part of daily tasks • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Ability to work independently and take initiative • A proactive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic • Basic computer skills for inventory management and stock tracking
- Days of work
- Monday to Sunday between 7:00am to 9:00PM (Anytime between this) on a rotating roster and must be available on weekends (35 hours per week)
