WIGRAM: A factory in Christchurch are lookout for someone to work on the factory floor operating machinery and preparing materials for Cavity Sliders, Wardrobes and Aluminium Doors. Great team and work environment. Opportunity to progress within the company and training will be provided to the successful candidate.
This company specialise in the manufacturing of Cavity Sliders, Wardrobe Organizers, Door Track Systems and Aluminum Doors - and this role will have you hands on in each area!
They will provide you will all your basic safety gear including safety boots and you are work with industry standard machinery and technology!
If you have worked within warehousing, distribution, and factory processing environments before, then we need to hear from you TODAY!
Job Requirements
Key responsibilities will include:
Selection of materials and cut to size. Glue and screw components together and complete finishing (trimming & sanding) Programme and operate factory equipment and machinery. Ensure Health & Safety compliance is observed, maintaining a clean and safe working environment. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to have or demonstrate:
Sound experience in use of hand and power tools and machinery. Great time management and multi- tasking ability Accuracy and attention to detail An ability to work to deadlines while providing a high standard of quality and efficiency. Experience within Joinery or building or a good knowledge in these areas would be an advantage.

- Hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm. (40 hours per week)
