About this job

To assist in the production of all products by adhering to all production processes including processing times, control points and correct use of equipment. To package all products ensuring correct labelling, stamping and packaging is used. To accurately report production in accordance with the implemented Food Safety programme. To maintain the highest standard of quality when producing products in accordance with the company's organic certification standards. To immediately report any production issues including machinery malfunction to the Production Supervisor or in their absence to the Production Manager (call if off site) in order to avoid batch loss. To accurately complete all production records and to immediately report any anomalies to the Production Supervisor. To complete all factory cleaning required. To ensure correct and safe operation of equipment. To maintain a safe and clean working environment by using all control points, equipment, and resources in a correct manner. To keep the production room plant, floor walls and ceiling clean to our Food Safety and hygiene standards. To maintain the production room plant, floor, walls and ceiling to a safe level so that they all remain as cost effective and efficient as they can be with the least possible amount of wear.

Job Requirements

Experience in a food manufacturing environment or similar environment. Physically fit. Good motor control in regard to packaging and handling of food and ingredients. Ability to communicate clearly. Good command of English. Knowledgeable in food safety. Basic food hygiene certificate desirable. Good work ethic and positive work habits. Excellent time management skills. Proven ability to multi task. To be able to work as a member of a team. Excellent time keeping skills

Days of work
Monday to Friday & some Saturdays if needed. 6am - 230pm primarily but be flexible to work other shifts as well (40 hours per week)
