About this job
To ensure member enquiries regarding information, new accounts, loans, products, and services are completed in an efficient and timely manner. To be a positive, willing, contributing, and adaptable member of the team always. Specific Duties: Process requests from members ensuring accuracy when handling transactions • Ensure accurate member identification to minimise unauthorised use or disclosure of personal information • All training and compliance tasks are completed on or before due date • Correspondence including but not limited to returned mail and emails followed up as required in a timely, professional manner • Maintaining good working relations and open communication with all other First Credit Union departments • Daily administration tasks completed efficiently and in a timely manner, including but not limited to: o Scanning membership documents, IDs, loan documents etc o Actioning periodic payments and bulk payees o Outbound proactive phone calls Must be able to deal with difficult customers and problem solve to reach a good resolution. Job Requirements
Skills in written and oral English, communicating both in person, over the phone and in writing with correct grammar and spelling. Microsoft Office suite knowledge, mathematics knowledge, problem solving and customer service skills – genuine will to help people. Must be honest and reliable. Great customer service with a vibrant personality to get on with people from all walks of life and create rapport.
