Job brief To manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.

It is essential that you maintain 100% accuracy in your records and each transaction. Timely, accurate, and traceable completion of the tasks associated with your role is essential. As you are dealing with the companies cashflow it is imperative that goals set for you are achieved on time and you work closely with Workforce Solutions Staff and Client Accounts Personnel. You will need to gather all information needed to present completed finalisations to the General Manager for ‘sign-off’ at the scheduled deadlines through each week.

Ultimately, you will provide the business with accurate employee payroll by weekly set times, and maintain Aged Receivables to ensure a minimum of 80% are reconciled monthly. You must also provide FWS reports for review and maintain the integrity of our compliance and relationships. Also you will need to provide payments quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while assisting with compliance of all tax regulations.

Responsibilities: • Manage all accounting transactions • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable • Ensure Employee Payroll is Accurate for all employees, and paid on time without mistake • Ensure Aged Receivables are paid and a Minimum of 80% per month are fully reconciled. • Ensure all Flexi-Wage subsidies are accurately claimed, tracked, and meet all compliance issues. • Present to the General Manager reports for sign-off at the set weekly deadlines for each. • Prepare budget forecasts • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings • Ensure timely bank payments • Assist with taxes and preparing tax returns • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements • Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity • Audit financial transactions and documents • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary • Comply with financial policies and regulations

Job Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Hands-on experience with Xero accounting software • Advanced MS Excel skills • Experience with general ledger functions • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills • Strong Communication skills • Establish and Maintain excellent client and Workforce employee relationships
