We are on the hunt for a Farm Specialist to join a fun and dynamic team and support the daily operations of a well-managed farm. This role involves a mix of milking, animal care, pasture management, and farm maintenance, making it ideal for someone with a strong work ethic and a passion for farming.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with milking, feeding, calving, and animal health management. - Oversee grazing plans, pasture walks, urea application, and silage management. - Maintain fences, irrigation systems, troughs, vehicles, and farm equipment - Ensure safe effluent disposal and environmental compliance - Use shed and Halter technology to monitor and manage farm performance - Follow health, safety, animal welfare, and environmental regulations - Support with shed maintenance, calf rearing, cleaning, and other farm duties as required

Ideal Candidate: - 1+ Years experience in dairy farm operations. - Knowledge of pasture management, farm maintenance, and animal care. - Ability to use or learn farm technology and data systems. - Strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and attention to detail. - Flexibility to work within a team and adapt to farm schedules.

Job Requirements

Must have 1+ years experience Must be able to pass MOJ, drug test Must hold a minimum of a restricted licence Flexibility to work weekends

Days of work
5 days on 2 days off and 1 weekend day 5 am to 5 pm with 2x one hour breaks for breakfast and lunch. (50 hours per week)
