Store Person
About this job
Based in Ashburton: - Unload deliveries and check received goods against invoices. - Ensure stock is stored correctly and safely in designated areas. - Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory. - Maintain accurate records of received and dispatched goods. - Keep stock areas clean, organized, and compliant with health & safety regulations. - Ensure proper labelling and signage for easy stock identification. - Dispose of expired or damaged goods as per store policies. - Pick and pack items for store shelves. - Assist in loading/unloading stock for delivery and store transfers. - Assist customers in locating products when required. - Provide excellent service and respond to inquiries professionally. - Adhere to workplace safety protocols to prevent hazards. - Collaborate with other store staff and supervisors to maintain smooth\operations. - Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves when needed.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and a MOJ check.
Job Requirements
Qualification and Experience: NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification OR at least one year of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
