Gymnastics Coach
About this job
Lead and oversee the Athletic Programmes. Provide structured training to athletes by analysing their performances, developing their skills, and guiding them towards competitive success. Assist in coaching the competitive programmes when required. Work closely with the other coaches and the Management Committee to ensure a high-quality performance programme. Implement structured training and competition programmes that develop gymnasts' skills. Ensure training sessions are safe, engaging, and effective, following best coaching practices. Maintain open communication with parents/guardians, providing updates on gymnasts' progress, achievements, and behaviour. Collaborate with the Management Committee Team and club administrators, attending relevant meetings. Adhere to Gymnastics New Zealand's (GNZ) Technical rules, regulations, and policies. Uphold and work within Te Wero Gymnastics' vision, mission, policies, and procedures as set by the Management Committee.
Job Requirements
A recognised coaching qualification is highly desirable. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Current First Aid and Child Safeguarding certification (preferred). • A valid driver’s license (as travel may be required for competitions).

- between 9am and 9pm Monday to Sunday including public holidays (30 hours per week)
