About this job

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Wellness Partner to join our team at a large rest home/hospital facility. In this role, you will be working closely with elderly residents, providing personal care, supporting with meals, assisting with outings and activities, and being a positive mentor. Your role is crucial in making their days enjoyable, meaningful, and memorable.

As a Wellness Partner, you will:

- Care for and attend to residents’ personal needs, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-supported. - Assist with meal times, helping with feeding and ensuring residents enjoy their meals. - Support residents with outings and recreational activities, creating fun and engaging experiences. - Build meaningful relationships with residents, being their mentor and providing emotional support. - Go the extra mile to ensure the residents’ needs are met and their well-being is prioritized.

Job Requirements

- Must be able to work late and night shifts. - Minimum Level 2 qualification required (training provided to obtain Level 3 & 4). - Must be willing to complete Level 3 and 4 qualifications. - A kind, caring, and bubbly personality, with a genuine passion for helping others. - Ready to support and assist residents as needed, always going above and beyond. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Must Pass MOJ and Drug test - First Aid Certificate (Preferred)

Monday - Sunday on Rostered Shifts (extra shifts available for more hours) (32 hours per week)
