Storeperson

We are seeking a dedicated Storeperson to join our team based in Mt Wellington. This role is hands-on and centers around operating a forklift to load and unload trucks, managing stock levels, and ensuring effective warehouse operations, including FIFO practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Forklift Operation & Truck Loading Safely operate a forklift to load and unload trucks. Move pallets and stock around the warehouse as required. Ensure all goods are handled with care and in accordance with health and safety standards.

Stock Control & Inventory Management Restock shelves and bins, maintaining accurate stock levels at all times. Adhere to FIFO (First In, First Out) processes to minimize waste and ensure product freshness. Participate in regular stocktakes and assist in investigating stock discrepancies. Highlight any out-of-stock or low-stock items to the manager promptly.

Warehouse Duties Assist with general warehouse tasks, including picking and packing orders for vending machine refills and wholesale pantry customers. Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards. Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

- Must hold a Restricted/Full Driver Licence as well as a valid Forklift licence. - Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and Police check. - Proven experience in a warehouse/storeperson role. - Current OSH Forklift Certificate (F endorsement is advantageous). - Confident forklift operator with experience loading/unloading trucks and stacking shelves. - Familiarity with stock management systems and handheld devices is preferred. - Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks, including lifting heavy items. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining FIFO practices. - Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. - Reliable transport to and from work.
