About this job
Plan, formulate and implement operational budgets. Analyse sales figures and forecast future sales. Maintain stock levels. Determine popularity of items when ordering new stock. Motivate employees. Do appraisals & performance reviews. Determine product range, stock movement and manage inventory. Promote & advertise products in store. Make payment to suppliers. Negotiate better terms & conditions on monthly bills. Ensure store is well presented. Always seek to improve the store. Products to be accurately invoiced on arrival. Plan marketing and create instore specials. Determine and amend stock profit margins. Remain competitive. Do daily budgeting, cash recons, petty cash & banking. Organise, plan and execute promotions. Plan, formulate & implement business expansion strategies. Ensure health and safety compliance. Recruit, train & supervise staff. Make rosters & delegate duties to staff. Routinely evaluate staff performance. Provide continued staff training as required.
Job Requirements
At least 1 year retail supervisor experience needed. You must be confident, reliable and enthusiastic. You must also have excellent customer skills, problem solving and be mathematical skills. No criminal records. Drug testing.
