Logistics Coordinator

South Auckland based company offering range of freight, courier, packing and removalist services is currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team. Ideal candidate will be responsible for:

- Arranging and performing pick-ups and deliveries - Weighing, measuring and consigning all packages correctly - Packaging all consignments correctly using professional packaging techniques to minimize warranty claims and to ensure safe delivery - Embrace and adhere to the Companies "No Limits" culture - Tracking and tracing consignments as instructed by the Store Manager and issuing delivery confirmations - Servicing and maintaining equipment - Maintain good relationships with suppliers and their delivery drivers - Professional handling of Over-The-Counter-Sales, telephone sales, web estimate requests and online sales transactions - Providing exceptional levels of customer service - Assist the Store Manager with the sales aspects of the business in accordance with the business system outlined in their operations manual

- Must have completion of Secondary School Experience. - Minimum 3 years retails experience in Retail, Business Management or a Graduate of Shipping and Freight (Training will be provided). - Intermediate level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Applications. - Good level of written and verbal communication, willing to learn, organized and able to prioritize, enthusiastic and energetic - Well presented and punctual - Self-motivated and always willing to go the extra mile - Able to work between their Manukau and Takanini branches
