Join Our Team as a Back of House (BOH) Assistant – Wellington Locations (Terrace or Thorndon)
Are you passionate about food and ready to be part of a dynamic kitchen team? We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Back of House (BOH) Assistant to help prepare delicious food and contribute to a smooth kitchen operation. You will play a key role in baking bagels, making pizzas, preparing sandwiches, and more.
Whether you prefer the vibrant atmosphere of our Terrace location or the cozy vibe of our Thorndon cafe, you’ll be able to choose the shop that suits you best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bake fresh bagels and prepare pizzas - Prepare sandwiches and other delicious menu items - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment - Follow food safety and kitchen protocols - Assist with stock management and inventory - Work closely with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, a great work ethic, and preferably some experience in a fast-paced kitchen or fast food setting. Job Requirements
- Previous customer service experience is an advantage, though we are happy to provide training for the right candidate. - We are looking for someone who is personable, reliable, and passionate about delivering excellent service. -Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, alcohol check and MOJ - A positive, bubbly attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction. - Honesty, reliability, and a strong work ethic -Experience working in a kitchenhand/BOH role

- 30 Hours Minimum - Flexible Hours Available. Must Be available on the weekend. (30 hours per week)
