This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and ready to take the next step in their electrical career as on-the-job training can be provided.
The purpose of this role is to review, design, implement, install, commission and maintain Level 3 (DC) Electric Vehicle (EV) charging systems. In this line of work, no two days are the same. You need to be comfortable thinking on your feet and troubleshooting with 3rd parties. This role involves some travel and may require visiting different areas of the country for extended periods, up to two weeks at a time.

Job Requirements
1- NZ Registered Electrician who is currently registered with the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) - possessing a Standard Electrician licence. 2- Good knowledge of relevant charging standards, such as CHAdeMO and CCS. 3- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. 4- Proficient in Microsoft 365. 5- Proficient in conducting system testing, troubleshooting and diagnostics. 6- Have ALL that experience noted on your up to date CV. 7- Full Class 1 NZ Driver's License, no demerits or conditions e.g. alcohol interlock in order to drive the business vehicle. 8- Possess your own manual and battery-operated tools ( Specialised tools will be provided). 9- Be willing and able to travel around NZ for extended periods, up to two weeks at a time. 10- Be willing to undergo a pre-employment Medical check which includes Drug Testing 11- Any Criminal convictions are to be disclosed and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Experience managing subcontractors and works in hazardous areas would be advantageous and preferably a candidate with an EV charger installation background and Civil Industry experience rather than Residential experience. Knowledge of software systems used in EV charging networks is a plus.

- Around 7am to 3pm, Mon-Fri. There is a requirement for being available for overtime work, which can include Weekends. (40 hours per week)
