A local company has a position available working on the Nightshift (11.00pm to 7.30am). The role is for a "Dye house Drum Operator" and the employer is looking for a reliable, committed and punctual person. The role involves the repetitive manual handling of product so you will need to be physically fit, you also need to be able to read and follow detailed instructions. Full training will be given, the employer conducts a pre-employment drug screening test as well as an aptitude test. The work is Monday to Friday.
Job Requirements
Applicants will need to pass a pre-employment drug test. This position also requires the person to follow detailed written instructions, so a good level of numeracy and literacy skills are required. The role involves repetitive physical lifting of leather product which could be up to 25kg in weight. So a good level of physical fitness is required. The job involves preparing, treating and finishing leather using chemical processes.
- Days of work
- Full time, night shift 11pm to 7.30am. Training will be on the morning or afternoon shift to begin with. 8.5 hours per day. (40 hours per week)
