Supervisor - Prepared Produce

Busy food company requires Supervisor for Prepared Produce Duties: Lead, oversee, and manage all operational aspects of the Prep Produce Department, Ensure timely and accurate preparation and packing of produce orders, Manage daily activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, and floor productivity; Ensure all produce is prepared, packed, and stored according to company and regulatory standards; Monitor and enforce food safety protocols, including proper handling, sanitation, and storage practices. Ensure FIFO stock rotation is implemented with the team. Assist the Produce Operations Manager in staff recruitment, training and performance management. Lead, coach, and mentor the Prep Produce team to enhance capability in the produce business.

Our ideal candidate will possess: • Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Warehouse, Logistics, Supply chain or in a related field • 2-3 years of relevant experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor role • Hands on experience in Produce or Prepared produce warehouse required • Strong leadership and communication skills. • Experience in people management • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • High level of dependability and reliability. • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. • Flexibility to work weekends and extra hours as required. • Excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of employees. • Strong computer skills and technical proficiency.
