Storeperson / Inventory Controller

An airline catering company located in Mangere (Airport Oaks area) are currently seeking an experienced Storeperson / Inventory Controller to join their team.

The role of Store person is responsible for receiving inwards goods/deliveries, ensuring a steady supply of food and equipment items to the production area, picking and packing goods and maintaining documentation. As an Inventory Controller the focus will be to co-ordinate and control the inventory flow to our customers. You will be responsible for maintaining the accurate management of our Inventory in the Warehouse/Food Stores department.

This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in the day to day operation of the department. Experience in a food manufacturing or warehouse environment would be great, but what we really value is your reliability, enthusiasm and the ability to work shifts.

- Experience working in food manufacturing or warehouse environment - Must have a forklift licence - Physically fit as the role involves a lot of physical work including heavy lifting - Good working knowledge of SAP system and intermediate level of Excel and Word required to maintain records - Problem solver with a can do attitude - Proven ability to work unsupervised - Ability to work rostered shift hours (Mon to Sun) and weekends on a 5 day roster. - Must have own transport - Have a clean MOJ/ Police record due to Airport location - Contactable work references
